She was predeceased by: her husband John William Wood; her parents, Clarence Thompson and Gertrude Thompson; her siblings, Tommy Thompson and Mae Chance (Wayne); and her nephew Bart Thrasher.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky (Linda Thompson), Kathy Nappier, Dwight (Brenda Cash), Dwayne (Suzi Cash), Selina (Lisa Cash), Rebecca Warren, Beverly Wood Englehart, Leonard (Denice Wood) and Timothy (Regina Wood); her sister Pat Thrasher (Kenneth); her half-sister Kathrine Coffey (Robert); and her brother Claude Thompson (Rita). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
