Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Stanford Long of Sugar Hill, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 57, on August 1, 2020. He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Harold Long. He is survived by: his wife Penny Long; his mother Nancy Long; his children, Courtney Smith (Jeff), Kelsey Hokett, Jenna Medlin (Brendon), Amanda Long, Casey McDowell (Jacob) and Cody Grubbs; his brothers, Greg Long (Carol) and Richard Long; and his grandchildren, Zek, Emma, Gunner, Judson and Lyla. He is also survived by extended family, dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
