He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carter Collins, Sr. and Florine Collins (Schrimshire). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ussery Collins (Ussery); his children, Debra Blanken of Hiawassee, GA, Donald Collns (Cheryl) of Auburn, GA, Dawn Kern (Jim) of Perry, UT and Denise Jones of Canton, GA; and his grandchildren, Carrie, Tiffany, JeNece, Bryan, Zachary, Jason, Ashley, Emily and Jill. He is also survived by 26 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (4833 Suwanee Dam Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
