He was predeceased by: his wife Lonia Porter Roberts; his grandson Tristan Roberts; his parents, Wiley Otis and Minnie Westbrooks Roberts; and his siblings, Lucille Maddox, Margaret Kirkpatrick, George Roberts, Dewey Roberts and Hardy Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Pirkle (Paul), Sidney Roberts (Junyan), Stacy Cross (Keith) and Terry Roberts (Deanna); his grandchildren, Mark Pirkle (Mariana), Lynne Storm (Rick), Andrew Cross (Britni), Alaina Caton (Austin) and Cody Roberts; his great grandchildren, Alec Pirkle (Kaitlyn), Kalli Cleveland (Will), Rian Pirkle, Skyler Hux, Scarlett Caton, Avery Caton, Parker Dougherty, Brooks Cross and Noah Cross; and his sister-in-law Imogene Porter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Old Suwanee Baptist Church (4118 Old Suwanee Rd, Buford, GA 30518). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery (4118 Old Suwanee Rd, Buford, GA 30518).
