She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Watkins and Velma Watkins; and her siblings, J. N., Nathan Watkins, Cecilia Rutledge, Joan and Rachel Watkins.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Edward Troy; her children, Chris Mason (Jeff) and Shelly Utley (Craig); her grandchildren, Nickolas Mason (Jessica), Madison Mason and Ashlyn McPherson Utley; her great grandchild Theodora Mason; and her siblings, Mildred Levi (late Willard), Marie Long (late Harold), Marvine Crawford (late Tommy), Kathleen Head (Leroy), Florine Chastain (late David), Patsy Simmonds (late Robert), Dianne Wilson (Merritt), Betty Dailey, Shirley Watkins and Larry Watkins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
