She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Moon and Sue Moon; and her pet Chunky. She is survived by: her daughter Olivia Nelson (Jeremy); her grandsons, Gabriel and Elijah; her brother Gregory Moon (Lynda); her niece Casey Bowie; and her nephew Mitchell Moon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to LifeLine Animal Project in Dekalb County, continuing her legacy of love and care for animals.
