With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Shope Ellis (Stone Mountain, Georgia), who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Thompson Shope and Major Thomas Berry Shope; and her brothers, John and Thomas Shope, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Dudley Ellis; her children, Kyle Ellis Curran (Sean) and Benjamin Smith Ellis; and her grandchildren, Evelyn, Amelia, Luke, Juliet and Holden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite children's charity (such as St. Jude's or Make a Wish) or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
