She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Milton Gibson; and her parents, T. J. Patterson and Mary Patterson. She is survived by: her sister Peggy Jones; her daughters, Kathy Cato (Susan) and Kim Davidson (Rick); her grandchildren, Rodney "Bubba" Gibson (Karrie), Chris Carr (Chantal) and Kasey Davis (Jackson); her great grandchild Chloe Carr; and her sisters, Joy Patton and Laura Harris.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Melwood Cemetery (5170 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA 30083).
