It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Modelle Mathis of Stone Mountain, Georgia, born in Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe and Pearl Mathis (Beard). She is survived by: her nieces, Emmie Mathis Lee (Johnny) and Vicki Norris. She is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
