She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordia Swasick (Mills) and Clifford Swasick; and her husband Bill Brooks. She is survived by: her children, David Brooks (Connie) of Kansas City, Kelly Brooks (Donn Gibbs) of Decatur, Conrad Brooks (Jessica) of Tucker, Georgia and Laura Brooks of Glen Carbon, Illinois; her sister Grace Huffman of Des Moines, Iowa; her siblings-in-law, Larry Brooks (Carmela) of Omaha, Nebraska and Katie Brooks of Austin; and her sweet kitty Feather. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Cemetery.
