She was predeceased by: her parents, William Huffman Echols and Ruby Lassiter Echols; and her husband Elwyn J. Cheek of Stone Mountain, GA.. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Song (John) and Gail Clarke (Jon); her grandsons, Austin Clarke, Andrew Clarke, Sam Clarke, Alex Song and Christopher Song; her siblings, Judy Baker, Jim Echols (Emma) and Dave Echols (Cyndi); and her close friend Billy Smith of Covington.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Park Springs Pub (500 Springhouse Cir, Stone Mountain, GA 30087).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Park Springs Foundation.
