She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Calhoun and Lyda Calhoun (Abercrombie); her husband L. Dean Thomas; and her brothers, Jack Calhoun, Brice Calhoun and Bill Calhoun.
She is survived by: her children, Billy (Tina Thomas) of Loganville, GA, Jan (Stan Stollings) of Virginia Beach, VA and Elaine (Keith Watson) of Toccoa, GA; her sister Sue Smolarsky of Snellville, GA; her sisters-in-law, Janet Calhoun of Lawrenceville, GA, Linda Calhoun of Monroe, GA and Janie Calhoun of Loganville, GA; her grandchildren, Christa Pickrell (Howard), Kim Daniels (Dave), Melody Rogers (Brett), Marie McDougald, Drew Watson (Paige) and Karly Shaver (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Noah, Aidan, Leah Pickrell, Makaiya, Isaiah Daniels, Eli (Radina), Zach Chapman, Charlie Rogers, Wil, Wyatt Highfill, Naomi, Patrick Watson, Dean and Zeke Shaver.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of TIM Stewart Funeral Home (670 Tom Brewer Rd, Loganville, GA 30052).
