She was predeceased by: her parents, Fillmore Basham and Carrie Basham; her husband Larry K. Polley; her brother Fillmore "Sonny" Basham Jr.; her son-in-law Jefferey Robinson; and her grandsons, Ardell Polley Jr., Orlando Ardell Polley, Antoine Whittington and Tyrell Polley.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Polley (Baltimore, MD), Esther Renee Polley of Houston, TX, Jeanette (David), Wright of Houston, TX, Amy Polley (Baltimore, MD), Larry K. Polley Jr. (Rosa), Lisa Robinson of Stone Mountain, GA, Darnell Polley (Baltimore, MD) and Ardell Polley of Snellville, GA; and her siblings, Gretchen Ann Mosby and Marvin Bryant Basham. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Avondale-Scottdale Chapel (351 N Clarendon Ave, Scottdale, GA 30079). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the John Flynn Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (2630 E State St, Hermitage, PA 16148).
