He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Durrett. He is survived by: his father Milton Durrett; his children, Don Jr. of Marietta, Dr. Lynley Durrett (Brian Thomas) of Buckhead, Lori Berger (Mark) of Atlanta, Christian (Saraliene) of Marietta and Dana (Fia) of Dunwoody; his grandchildren, Amelia Eggen (Jack), Mitchell Durrett, Lydia Durrett, Laurel Phillips, Lindsey Phillips, Luke Phillips, Viva Durrett, Cara Durrett, Grady Durrett and Calvin Durrett; his great grandchild Marley Jean Eggen; and his former wife Linda Motley of Atlanta.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peachtree Presbyterian Church (3434 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson Chapel Peachtree Presbyterian Church (3434 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305).
