He is survived by: his wife Beth Nell Bennett; his children, Ronald Bennett (Gayle) of Chelsea, AL, Robie Bennett (Debbie) of Longview, TX, Patrick Gessford of Sparks, GA, James William Gessford III (Ruth Ann) of Sparks, GA, Lisa Weaver of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Beth McDonald of Sparks, GA and Greta Marie Strum (Jerry) of Oklahoma City, OK; and his sisters, Evelyn Johnson of Orange Park, FL and Naomi Twiggs of Stockton, GA. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
