He was predeceased by: his parent Fessor Lee Leonard, Sr.; and his brother Fessor Lee Leonard, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty Ann Mitchell; his mother-in-law Addie Harkness; his wife Sheryl Harkness Leonard; his children, Nicole Leonard, Marcus Leonard (Ladipo) and Branton Leonard; his grandchildren, Anton, VurElise, Adrian, Iivanna, Aavari, Austin, Navayah, SaVaughn, Asahn and Volric; his siblings, Samuel Mitchell (Dawn) and Maria Mitchell Scott; his brothers-in-law, Tony Harkness and Baron Harkness; and his nieces and nephews, Kathleen Harkness Sarmiento (Tony), Taylor Harkness Kim (Solomon), Robyn Scott Walker, Morgann Mitchell, Lisa Harkness, Maya Mitchell, Rhana Mitchell, Rheagan Mitchell, Tony Harkness (Marlene) and D'Arcy Williams. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins, & friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Hope Cathedral (1738 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281).
