He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Powell and Annie Lillian Ross Blasingame; his siblings, Bobby Blasingame, Patty Benson and Betty Burns; and his wife Sarah Ruth Baccus Blasingame.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Burns (Randy) of Conyers and Billy Blasingame (Shayne) of Griffin; his grandchildren, Susan Cooper (Richard), Cindy Lunsford (Michael), Shauna Miller (Jason), Dylan Blasingame (CarrieAnn) and Alex Warbington; and his great grandchildren, Kimberlee Cooper, David Miller (Kaleigh), Grace Ann Miller, Emmalee Miller, Alex Meyer, Victor Miller, Zoe Miller, Charlee Miller, Gwen Nelson of Brayden Dozier, A. J and Nate Lunsford.
Memorials may be made to the "Entomology Student Support Fund" and indicate the gift is "in memory of W. E. (Bill) Blasingame, Sr.".
