It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Claude Ivie of Stockbridge, Georgia, born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt McKinley Ivie and Georgia Louise Flanders; his wife Helen Louise Dover Ivie; his brothers, Lynwood Ivie and Corbitt Ivie; and his great grandchild Peyton Michael Hays.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey Hays (Harlo), Stephanie Hyde (Nolan) and William "Bill" C. Ivie Jr. (Tammy); and his nephew J. C. Ivie (Carmen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
