He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus W. Buttrill and Mattie E. Buttrill; and his daughters, Sandra and Sally Buttrill. He is survived by: his wife Emily Moye Buttrill; his daughters, Susan Willis (Adam) and Stacey Anderson (W. Curtis); his siblings, Marc Buttrill (Athelyn), Barbara Barber and Macy Roush; his grandchildren, Claire Willis, Amanda Burson (Jordan), Josh Willis (Chelsie), Will Anderson (Grace), Kelly Willis, Alana Abbott, Ben Anderson and Cara Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Laila, Jordan Burson and Samuel Willis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ward's Chapel.
