She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Albert Whitaker and Lottie Estella Davis Whitaker; her daughter-in-law Lynn Spearman Martin; and her granddaughter Savannah Martin. She is survived by: her husband Joel Martin; her sons, Darrell, Sandy Martin, David (Susan Martin) and Daniel (Sandra Martin); and her sister Beth Smith. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
