She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Parris and Alice Craig Parris; her husband Joe Blount; and her siblings, Grace Odom, Ellie Hughes, Ruby Dilbeck, Leonard Parris, Earl Parris and Alvin Parris.

She is survived by: her children, Randall Patterson (Janice), Larry Blount (Sue), Bobby Blount (Judy), Rose Shelton (Charles) and Faye Grover (Chris); and her sister Evelyn Hunter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 1410 Valley Hill Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
