It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Jackson (Stockbridge, Georgia), who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Jackson and Susie Jackson; his son John Michael Jackson; and his siblings, Otis Jackson, Jr., Willie R. Jackson, Josephine Clark, Annie Sue Robinson, Helen Woods and Carolyn Pearson.

He is survived by: his sons, Dwight Johnson (Twana) and Vegas Johnson (Linda); his wife Jacqueline L. Johnson Jackson; and his siblings, Mary Jackson, Johnny Jackson (Mary), Patricia Mills (Jeff), Pearlene Hall (Eddie), Priscilla McQuire, Nancy Allen, Steve Jackson (Angela), Cindy Seller, Vernisha Daniely (J. D.), Vernell Jackson and Larry Hull. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
