He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Benjamin and Vilma Clement Benjamin; and his sister Gemma. He is survived by : his son Jevon Don Modeste of Boston; his sister Patsy (Tobago) of Trinidad; his sons, Michael of Atlanta and Marlin of Atlanta, Georgia; and his siblings, Trevor of Trinidad, Anthony of Trinidad, Sandra of Trinidad, Ermin of Trinidad and Tobago. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
