He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Buffington and Ellene Buffington (Elliott); and his siblings, Andy Buffington and Myra Booth. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Ruth Lee; his children, Faith Strickland (Jewell) of Jackson, GA, Teddy Buffington (Susan) of Colorado Springs, CO, Charlie Buffington (Cher) of Rockport, TX and Tim Buffington of Baker, MT; his grandchildren, Joey, Kayla, Kaci, Parker, Andy, Zach, Abel and Natalie; and his siblings, Danny Buffington, Jane Hudgins, Carol Johnson, Brenda Hill and Alice Johnson. He is also survived by four children, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
