She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Arron Pitts and Clara Queen Pitts; her husband Carl Leslie McAlister; and her siblings, James Imanuel Pitts, Davey Lee Pitts, Carolyn Pitts Emerson and Mary Magdalene Proctor.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark McFry (Wendy) and Stephen Pitts (Ginger); her grandchildren, Matthew Pitts (Samantha), Barbara Nicole McFry and Samantha Michelle McFry; her sisters, Lula Inez Pitts, Peggy Campbell, Sylvia Fatjo and Janice Kelley; and her sister-in-law Inez Pitts. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors (2580 GA-42, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
