He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovalee Tillison Sheffield and Lewis Randolph Sheffield Sr.; and his son John Alfred Joseph Bentley. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Ceci Sheffield; his grandchildren, Kayla Brown (Christian), Mia Bentley (Ezra), Abigail Bentley (Al), Lilith Bentley, Jackson Lindsley, John Patrick Lewis Bentley and Avery Bentley; his great grandchild Liam Elliott Joseph Brown; his sister-in-law Lucrecia Sueiras; his niece Ana Alvarez; his great-nieces and great-nephews, David and Kelly Martin (Chris); his nephew Michael Sueiras (Teresita); and his great-nephews, Joshua and Matthew.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy's name to the Samaritan's Purse Foundation.
