He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sims-Evans; his children, Bentzell Evans of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Flowers of Boston, MA, Theresa Owens (Kevin) of Columbus, OH, Cassandra and Steven Sims of Knoxville, TN; his siblings, Nathaniel Evans of Stamford, CT, Joan Farrow (Samuel) of Stockbridge, GA and Jessie Evans of Camp; his cousins, Danny Evans of Camp Hill, AL, Peggy and Toney Tinsley of Boston, MA; his brother-in-law Samuel (Farrow); his grandchildren, Kevin, Troy, Malik, James, Javon, Kendrell, Kyrell, Luv and Tyrence; his great grandchildren, Kaliyah, Kamiah and Adonis; and his nieces and nephews, George Jr., Michael, Mark, Terry, Alfrado, Corey, Wayne, Brian, Kathy, Monica, Jessica, Lisha and Robin. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
