He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Morris; and his grandson Major James Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Terry Sanders (Lea) of Stockbridge, Dee Tanner (Bill) of McDonough and Tracy Price (Robby) of McDonough; his siblings, Walter Morris, Minnie Jo Norberg of Jesup and Nell Horton of Jesup; his grandchildren, Brittany Henderson, Malvin Sanders (Jan), McKensie Boggards (Kyle), Trey Price (McKenzie) and Olivia Kate Tanner; and his great grandchildren, Owen Major Sanders, William Allen Price, Park Ryan Henderson, Kennedy Grace Price and Blakely Suzanne Sanders.
