He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Rogers Sr. and Katie Pearl Rogers; and his brothers, Michael Rogers (Brandee), Colonel Harvey Robinson (Astrid), Roy Rogers (Sarah), Willie Rogers, Terry Robinson (Jacqueline) and Walter Philip Rogers Jr. (Elaine).
He is survived by: his wife Angel Jenkins Rogers of Boston, Massachusetts.; his daughter Dr. Lanerica J. Rogers; his sister Lois Annett Craddock; and his nieces and nephews, Laquetta Barnes (Julius), Yolanda Freeman (Rico), Mariah Miller (Austin), Phyliss Jones, Tyrone Rogers, Andre Jones, Rodney Jones and Devin Robinson. He is also survived by many cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
