It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayla Marie Appel of Stockbridge, Georgia, born in College Station, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Chick and Marlene; her aunt Anita; and her pets, Sakura and Chibbs.
She is survived by: her parents, Joan Marie Appel (Rosshirt) and Michael Appel (Heidi); her siblings, Marlana Steele (Michael), Cole Bram and Kelly Appel; her nephew Landon Steele; and her goddaughter Lily Thomason. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Fayette Event Center (174 Glynn St N, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
