He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wheeler Britt and Evelyn Ruth Smith Britt; his son Joseph Britt; and his brother Clyde Britt. He is survived by: his wife Marie Britt; his son Shawn Britt; his grandsons, John Britt and Thomas Britt; and his siblings, Gloria Britt, Jeanne Britt, Jerry Scott and Don Scott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Haven Baptist Church (345 E Lake Rd, McDonough, GA 30253). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
