He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Hardiman Gardner; and his parents, Patricia Carrion of Stockbridge and James A. Gardner, Sr. of Savannah, Georgia.. He is survived by: his siblings, James A. Gardner, Jr. (Rosa) of Douglasville, Paul T. Gardner (Susan) of Tempe and Erin Gill (Rob) of Tavistock; his stepmother Sheila Gardner (Georgia) of Savannah; and his half-brothers, Christopher Gardner (Georgia) of Savannah and Glenn Gardner (Kim) of Marietta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew.
