It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Washington Dollar of Stockbridge, Georgia, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordis Dollar of Washington and Mabel Praytor Dollar; his wife Helen Marcella Loosier Dollar; his brothers, Gerald Gordis Dollar and Billie Joe Dollar; and his nephew Jeffrey Mark Dollar.
He is survived by: his son Bennett "Benji" Dollar of Jackson, GA; his sister Robbie Jean Ward of Norman, OK; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Dollar of Tuscaloosa, AL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Dollar.
