She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McCowan and Hattie McCowan; her husband Otis Morgan, Jr.; her siblings, John L. McCowan, Booker T. McCowan, Melvin McCowan, Truman McCowan, Everleen McCowan and Dorene Brightwell; her daughter-in-law Teresa Morgan; and her sisters-in-law, Orris McCowan and Tina McCowan.
She is survived by: her son Dennis; her daughter-in-law Colleen Morgan of Stone Mountain; her son Evan; her daughter-in-law Elaine Morgan of Lithonia; her daughter Leneva Morgan of Stockbridge; her grandchildren, Katharina Morgan, Randy Graham of Locust Grove, Dominique, Whitney Morgan of McDonough, Neal, Molly Morgan of Brookhaven, Evan, Chandrea Morgan, Jr. of Locust Grove, Christopher, Jasmine Morgan of St. Louis and Imani Morgan of Stockbridge; her great grandchildren, Lylah Morgan, Emily Morgan, Emma Morgan, Teagan Morgan, Dominique Morgan, Jr. and Raya Morgan; her brother Charles McCowan of Athens; and her siblings-in-law, Helen McCowan of Jasper, Doris McCowan of San Diego, Joan Jackson of Forest Park, Constance Berry of East Point, Anthony Morgan of Atlanta and Eugene Morgan of Atlanta.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143).
