We bid farewell to Faye Lynette Sumner of Stockbridge, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Faye Lynette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel "Mae Ruth" Burnette and Harold Edward Looney; her husband Daniel Louis Sumner; her daughter Jeri Pollard-Smith; and also, Greg Smith, Cheryl Robertson (Neal), Donna Looney Kenny and Sharon Looney Goodman.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim Wolfe (Walter); her sisters, Debby Howard (Benny) and Karen Slawson (Edward); her grandchildren, Brandon Pollard (Kayla Burge), Cameron Winters (Kerrah), Makayla Shirley (Shane) and Lindsey Wolfe; her great grandchildren, Selina, Warren, Preston and Sawyer; her caregiver Tykesha; and her pet Bandit.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ford Stewart Funeral Home Inc. (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
