She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Cruz and Florencia Gonzalez. She is survived by: her husband Eduardo Villanueva; her children, Mirta Villanueva Maldonado (Rudolph F. Maldonado), Elsa Villanueva, Edward Villanueva (Jacqueline Villanueva) and Nancy Villanueva; her grandchildren, Kristie M. Gonzalez (Angel Gonzalez) and Ronald William McDonagh; her great grandchild Vanessa Stenson; and her sister Iraida Cruz Velez.
