He was predeceased by: his parent Gloria Jane Ranson (Richard). He is survived by: his parent Linton Anthony; his wife Ruth A. Ranson of Stockbridge, GA.; his children, Denice R. Ranson, Daniel P. Ranson, Jr. of Springfield, MA. and Patrice A. Ranson of Lawrenceville; his stepdaughters, Simone Hyman of Stockbridge, GA. and Monique Hyman of Stockbridge, GA.; and his siblings, Timothy G. Ranson of Atlanta, GA., Marcia Gadson-Harris, Charlotte A. Cameron, Marie Ranson of Springfield, MA., Anthony Ranson, Jr. of Dorcester, MA. and Gloria L. Martin of San Francisco, CA.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and one step-grandson.
