He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Otis Champion and Louis DeLoach Champion. He is survived by: his wife Gail Roberts Champion; and his children, Greg Champion, Tracey Haney, Shanda Prater and Brad Smith. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Sacred Journey Hospice.
