He is survived by: his mother Margaret Mitchell (Roper); his wife Connie Brown Mitchell; his sons, Paul Mitchell (Felicia) and Steven Mitchell (Malia); his grandchildren, Jackson, Preston, John Michael and Bree; and his brother Donnie Mitchell (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
