She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucia Knight and Edna Knight; and her husbands, Ernest Sargent and Dennis J. Johnston. She is survived by: her sons, John Wayne (Jeanine Williams) of Eastman and David Ernest (Tonya Sargent) of Stockbridge; her grandchildren, Dee Snyder (Erica Moore) of Eastman and Kristin Williams (Emily Sargent) of Eastman; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Snyder, Charleigh Snyder, Parker Moore and Paisley Moore; her stepchildren, Kim Pettit (Steve) of Ellijay, Jimmy Johnston (Tahnee) of Birmingham and Kristye Gunter (Taylor) of Birmingham; her stepgrandchildren, Eli Pettit, Sarah Pettit and Skyler Johnston; and also, Debra Ankeny (Dick) and Lisa Cash (Eddie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Community Church of Praise (3851 Union Church Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
