She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliza Phillips Wright and Archie Lee Wright; her husband Ben Edward Groce; her brothers, Glen (Jeanette), Stanton (Marie) and Marvin (Marvene); her son Marvin F. Groce (Betty); her grandchildren, Tim Groce and LeeAnn Lanier; and her son-in-law Sammy Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Curtis E. Groce (Edith) of Jackson and Sandra M. Cox (late Sammy) of McDonough; her sister-in-law Hazel Wright (late Marvin) of Auburndale, FL; her grandchildren, Dan Groce, Brian Groce (Debbie), Cerise Groce (late Tim), Jonathan Groce, John Lanier (late LeeAnn), Kristin Osterhout and Nicholas Cox; her great grandchildren, Kevin Groce, Ashley Cazares, Cameron Groce, Katie Barnett, Amber Todd, Jeremy Osterhout, Sammy Osterhout, Abbie Cox and Kayleigh Cox; and her great great grandchildren, Gage Groce, Zack Groce, Josh Groce, Hollan Groce, Nathan Barnett, Lydia Barnett, Isaac Barnett and Karson Puckett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
