He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Edenfield Sr. and Ruth Rowland Edenfield; his children, Kimberley and Christopher Edenfield; and his siblings, Joe Edenfield, Jamie Ruth Edenfield, Barbara Slater and Nancy Edenfield.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Nell Edenfield of Stillmore, GA; his children, Lisa Britt (Sam) of Bluffton, S. C. and Mitchell Edenfield (Missy); his sibling Shannon Edenfield (Michelle) of Metter, GA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Jonathan Britt, Dakota Edenfield (Megan), Chance Collins, Devin Edenfield, Aaron LaPoint, Zachary Edenfield and Alyson Edenfield; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Tapley (Mike). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may make a contribution to the charity of their choice in honor of Mr. Robert or they may make a contribution to Mt. Shady Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 630 Sandhill Road, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
