With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Welch Edwards of Stillmore, Georgia, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes P. Edwards and Rosie Lee Welch Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gail Bryant Edwards; his brother Hayes Edwards of Florida; his children, Jimmie W. Edwards, Jr. (Charlene) of Clarksville, TN and Christine E. Paige of Bloomingdale, GA; and his grandchildren, Rachel Gail Duncan (Todd), Rebecca Anne Edwards, Jamie Charlene Smock (Jason), Jessica Lee Myatt (Austin) of Clarksville, TN, Katherine Nicole Paige, Jack "Zeek" David Paige of Bloomingdale and Georgia. He is also survived by 10 greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
