She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert A. Foskey and Luna Lee Lanier Foskey; her husband Laney Carter; and her siblings, Howard Foskey, Jackie Whitfield and Frankie Kicklighter.
She is survived by: her children, Laney Lee Carter (Susan), Mary Ann Wilson (Glen), Jeffrey Carter (Melanie) and Melissa Hampton (William); her grandchildren, Mollie Carter, Peyton Carter, Tyler Wilson, Erin Slaven, Emily Banks, Will Hampton, Carter Hampton and Taylor Hampton; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Kennedi, Rhett, Levi, Layne, Ryan, Delaney and Linley.
