She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas James Byrd and Mayliza George Byrd; and her brother Thomas Sine Byrd. She is survived by : her husband Johnny Gordon; her children, Johnny D. Gordon and Ilene Gordon Branch; her brother Thomas James Byrd, Jr.; her son-in-law Rev. Johnny Branch; and her sisters-in-law, Vilue Gordon and Julia Nell Byrd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (25 N Kennedy St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
