She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Craig and Winnie Bell Pilgrim Craig; her husband Jack Carter; her grandson Justin Carter; her great grandchild Kate Stephens; her daughter-in-law Ann Carter; and her sisters, Doris Weaver, Agnes Stamey and Anna Ramsey.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Stephens of Toccoa and Danny Carter of Toccoa; her grandchildren, Stacey, Todd Proctor, William, Wendy Stephens, Deidra Carter, Danielle, Kaci Mize, Jon and Ori Carter; her great grandchildren, Jake Stephens, Leah Ginn, McKenzie, Sean Viola, Blake Carter, Addie Carter, Dallas Carter, Emmit Carter, Landry Carter and Elliott Carter; and her siblings, Roy Craig, Jr. of Toccoa, Talmadge Craig of Toccoa, William Craig of Cornelia, Billie Cheek of Toccoa and Patsy Wilbanks of Toccoa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
