He is survived by: his parent Ruthie Mae Hart Elrod; his spouse Martha Gray Elrod; his daughter Peggy Corley; his son-in-law Gary Corley of Toccoa; his sons, Troy Elrod, Leta Elrod, Danny Elrod and Kay Elrod; and his sister-in-law Bruce. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; brother.
