It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Percival Mitchell Gibby of Stephens, Georgia, born in Bryson City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaither B. Gibby and Ethel Byrd Gibby. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Roberts Gibby; his children, Kathy Haralson (Greg) of Dunedin and David Gibby of Anderson, SC; his grandchildren, Justin, Brittany and Jordan; his great grandchild Layla; and his siblings, Judy Cannon, Jerry Gibby (Gail) of Toccoa, GA and Randall Gibby of Jesup, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
