She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thomas Banks and Mandy Cornelia Payne Banks; her husband Glen Murphy; her daughter Kimberly Cragin; and her siblings, Juanita Payne, Gladys LeCroy, Gennette Andrews, Lem Banks and Marion Banks.

She is survived by : her children, Jackie Knilans of Martin and Ronnie; and her daughter-in-law Lylah Murphy of Toccoa. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home (90 S Pond St, Toccoa, GA 30577). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Stephens Memorial Gardens (3650 GA-17, Toccoa, GA 30577).
