It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Price Perkins of Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Price and Mary Garner Price; her husband J. R. Perkins; her sisters, Ione Morris, Genora Price and Faye Dickerson; her half-sisters, Irene Yearwood, Naomi Gant, Louise Hardy and Gloria Jean Gibson; and her stepbrothers, Jule, Bury, Dorsey and Jim Hardy.
She is survived by: her daughters, DiAnne (Mike Scott), Susan (Billy Perkins) and Georgia (Frank Stancil); her grandchildren, Paige Flotkoetter (Brent), Kevin Scott, Carrie Hodgin (Adam), Craig and Blake Morris; her great grandchildren, Ethan and Alexa Flotkoetter; her half-sisters, Blondine Ivester of Atlanta and Barbara Crooks of McCormick; and her stepbrother John Hardy of Toccoa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
